There are way too many beers to consider but what I can tell you from extensive travelling is that Russia and Ukraine have a lot of good beers. And when I say a lot, I mean a good bulk of their beer is high quality, as opposed to say, US, Japan, France, Italy, Mexico, Canada, etc good part of the beer at the supermarket is just simply garbage.

The only ones I would never drink in any country are light and ice. Those have always been downers. Makes you depressed when you think that you actually paid for carbonated urine....

That would depend on style, for IPA I would say Russian River Pliny The Elder, For Lambic either Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus or Organic Geueze, for overall ber Trappist Westvleteren 12 from Watou Belgium is generally considered to be the highest rated beer on earth.

I like import beers (as in non-american beers). A recent one that I found that I like is Negra Modelo. It's a Mexican beer. Quite yummy!

with my experience in germany, which i heard was known for their beer and chocolate, is a beer from a german monistary is the best and if you dont mind paying shipping you can find some on e-bay; i have.
