what is your theme song?

I sure hope this question isn't deadly serious, because I intend to have fun with it!

If I can only have one theme song, I guess I would pick "In the Hall of the Mountain King" by Edvard Grieg. I particularly like the arrangement I have linked as it is for strings only, and is not quite as scary as a full orchestra version. This would probably only play, at first at least, in my secret headquarters, an ultra-modern hideout done in steel, glass and black leather, but disguised as a rocky, deserted island somewhere in the middle of the ocean.

However, as I believe in the power of music to act on people in a deep and sometimes even subconscious level, I would also stock my arsenal with:

"Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by The Police. This would be for use at press conferences and with the public in general, because a little brainwashing never hurt anyone.

"I'm Just a Girl" by No Doubt. This would be used when dealing with officials and heads of state, to fool them into thinking I am not a threat in any way. I would assume that after hearing the beginning, they would stop paying attention before it gets to the part where the lyrics declare I am tired of the current state of affairs.

Finally, for those who express some doubt, after the revolution, I would pacify them (somewhat) with "*****" by Meredith Brooks. The lyrics speak for themselves.

Also, once I have taken over the world, I would make the following changes:

--Ice Cream would be declared the most desirable source of calcium, and to encourage people to eat it, it would be declared a non-fat, no calorie food, regardless of what's actually in it.

--The media would have to stop showing pictures of unnaturally thin men and women and declaring that they are how everyone should look. All models would be required to be normal-sized or plus-sized people, and airbrushing would be banned. If a cover model has a blemish, she has a blemish, just like every other normal woman in the world.

--No criminal would be executed for their crimes. They would instead spend the rest of their lives in solitary, with only scratchy 70s pop music and cheesy romance novels to alleviate their boredom. And they'd have to drink milk to get their calcium!

--All abusive parents and spouses/partners would immediately be relieved of their burdens. Children would go to a loving home where they are actually wanted and treasured, and adults would receive help and counselling, and be introduced to nice people who would actually love them and be good to them. The abusers would be reduced to drinking milk.

--Everyone, everywhere would have access to good medical care, good food, clean water, and freedom from fear.

My list could go on and on and on, but I will spare you the details of the other things I plan to put into effect once I achieve world domination...

Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries'. That's pretty obvious.

Or 'Sugar Sugar' by the Archies, just to throw everyone off.
