Take the eggs out, this won't stop her from laying more eggs but it may slow her down. I had a bird that did this all the time, the only thing I had to make sure was that she was getting enough calcium in her diet. Maybe she needs a boyfriend that is if you want more birds. My vet told me that my bird saw me has her mate and thats why she kept laying eggs. I finally gave her to someone who had an avery, she found a mate and was a wonderful and very happy mom.

Don't take it out because she might lay more and her body wil get over worked and exhausted. Try getting a fake egg from a pret store if possible. I've read this many times on bird websites and books over the years.

no i dont think so because she will know with her "animal instinkts" that there is not a baby in the egg.
just go ahead and take it unless she seems attatched to it if that's the case then just wait a little longer she'll eventually get the point that there is nothing in it.

When our parkeet had eggs I left them in there a few days until she got tired of them then I removed them from the cage.

No, but, she's not going to be appreciated by you anymore. She will be very scared of you. Otherwise, after a day or so she will forget all about the eggs. But she won't forget about you taking them, and her being scared of you.
