My headpiece looks almost exactly like Arwen's from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at Aragorn's coronation at Gondor at almost the end of the movie. I don't want a complete updo as it would not be accurate to the renaissance period nor the movie and I don't want my hair completely down as the wedding is on July 22 and it will be extremely hot outside. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you look to see how arwen has her hair in the film? Is it like small braids at the front or something? Or maybe havce it half up half down and wavy, that always looks really sexy and soft and nice.

Best bet,get an issue of"Renaissance"magazine, look in the back, directory, find a faire near you that`s open now,go there and find your way to the braiding booth.

It's all merely a matter of personal preference. We have short hair and guys such as it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a person with long hair because long hair tends to make guys look as well girly.
