Do you mean performer, scene painter, director, ...? Ultimately it is all an attempt to entertain the rest of society. Some claim to be showing great insights into the human condition. Often they are funded by some guy who needs a tax write-off, and they put on things that are insults to the very people they want to have accept them. Go figure.
