The largest dog in height is the Irish Wolfhound

St Bernard's generally weigh in at 180, Danes around 160 while English Mastiffs go 190-250.

Actually the "tallest" dog is an Irish Wolfhound. Big meaning "BIG" would probably be a St. Bernard. Or, some types of mastiffs. I have two, and one weighs in at about 200 lbs.
