Does DDR help to burn fat & get rid of your stomach? If so, how often should you do DDR each day?

I have a DDR game and man does it ever burn calories.... My heart rate monitor says that if you are really dancing (i mean putting everything you have into it) you burn around 450 calories per hour! This of course depends on your weight. I think DDR is a great fun way to burn fat. Flex your tummy muscles while you are dancing by holding in your stomach and you will not only be activating the muscle but improving your posture and your balance.

Dancing is exercise and any exercise will help to burn fat. As for your stomach, it should help if you make sure that you tighten your stomach muscles while you are going through your routine. I would do the DDR everyday and maybe once in the morning and once before supper. Anyway, it sounds like a lot of fun! I think I'll check it out as well. Good luck to you!!! and thanks for the tip

hi i have ddr and i did it all winter and it helped the punds stay off so i think that you should do it like 2 times a day or more if you think

Well,Every week on Friday,Saturday or even on Wednesday try an exodus in your favourite dance club have a couple of refreshments escorted with the "chef`s" menu of yummies+dance till you fly.....

I haven't tried it but it sounds like a good cardio routine. You need at least 30min of cardio daily. However, that's just the start. To get rid of your stomach and keep yourself fit, you still need to eat healthy (no junk food), drink lots of water (no soda) and you'll need to do a toning exercise, such as pilates!

the key to abs is in you eat

If it gets you up, gets you moving and gets your heart rate up...then it's good. I can't promise it will flatten your stomach, but it will help you burn calories.
