I believe that parents never stop loving their kids, even when the kids are grown-up themselves, and may marry and have families of their own. Parents' love for their kids is most definitely unconditional, and certainly they learn to forgive.

I don't think that it is possible that a paremt will stop loving their kid or love them less for any reason. However, what is really hard to believe, hard to conceive at all, but true, is that some parents never had love in them for their child. Some people are so cold, almost dead emtionally, that they cannot love, even their offspring. Those people may act for a while like they "should" like any loving parent might, but appear to lose their love if something happens. In fact, they never loved. Love never dies, let alone parental love.

I think that parents get disappointed with their children but they never stop loving them or love them any less.
I look at my kids and know that they will eventually tell me they hate me and other rude things but I know they will always love me,that is a bond that can not be broken by any means.

Hello!? Yes There are childish mothers out there like my birth mother who hate their offspring and hold 20+ year grudges over the fact that someone stepped in and played mamma for them and they bonded with that person. My birth mother hates me, and has nothing positive to say to me to this day. I'm 26 years old and she abandoned me at 3 months old. Thank Goodness my grandmother adopted me then.

I couldn't imagine loving my kids any less than I do now, and even when I think I couldn't possibly love them any more..I do! They are my reason for living.
