Yes, this is very normal. It really depends on the woman, sometimes their sex drive goes up, and sometimes it goes down. Also, it may go up in the second trimester or even third. Right now she might just be so excited about the baby, a little nervous, and a little uncomfortable with her body. Just reassure her you still find her attractive. She may also be worried that the baby might get hurt during sex. Talk to her and at the next doctor's appointment, ask if you can go with her and maybe you can both ask the doctor questions. Hope it helps! Whatever you do, don't pressure her. Just make her feel good about herself and help her enjoy the pregnancy! Congrats!

Listen buddy, each pregnancy is different. It might be that the hormones make her nauseated. If you'd like to force the issue, I hope she barfs all over your face.
Have you checked how she is feeling? Have you even noticed she might not be eating much? This is when the man should be nurturing the woman, she is carrying your child. What, do you think that creating a human is so easy? Why do you think it takes 9 months?! Get her breakfast, if she isn't nauseated. If she is, get her some chamomile tea and saltine crackers. That should settle her stomache, along with things that have ginger in them, and stop being so damn selfish! You got her pregnant, now you take care of her! Grow up, little boy!

With pregnancy anything is normal. When I was pregnant with my daughter for the first two trimesters I didn't want anyone to touch me. The last trimester I think my husband was actually hiding from me in an attempt to get a break.
Honestly though, I have heard of women going both ways. Some don't want to be touched, others want sex all the time. Especially in the first trimester if she is suffering from morning sickness the last thing she feels like doing is letting you bounce on top of her. Just be supportive and it will be fine in the end.

It certainly is. Her hormones are are fluctauting(sp?) rapidly and she is discovering her body is physically changing. It is also not unusual to get depressed before a woman has the baby. If this is her first child she is going through major life changes. More than you could know. You should talk to her. But be gentle and understanding and no matter what, be there for her. She's more emotional than she probably wants to be. Things might pick up in a month or so. She'll be so horny she won't let you leave for work. lol

Each person is different and woman pregnant or not are hormonal...you need to talk to her about it and maybe see if there is anything you can do for her. You never know she may be ready for sex further in the pregnancy....Just like some guys don't like the idea of having sex with pregnant woman their are woman out there that don't like the same thing. and sometimes it just takes time, I know I never felt like having sex in the first few months because I felt more sick then anything and all I wanted to do was sleep.

YES! Her body is going through major changes, she's probably tired, morning sickness, headaches, everything smells 100 times more...
Don't worry, in about another month or so you'll be fighting her off you! Just remember to help her as much as you can, and be there for her. It's not about you right now, it's about her welfare and the welfare of your child. Let her take a nap when she's run down. It's alot of work making a baby!
Remember, happy mommy makes a happy baby. And congratulations!

Sweetheart my husband and I have been together for 12 years and have had sex almost every single night from the first month we met. When we had our last child we hardly had sex at all, my sex drive went straight down the drain. With my other pregnancy's I was extremly horny. Talk to your wife, see if there is anything that you can do, if there is anything special she needs.

Some women get "morning sickness" practically all day long. She might be feeling really bad. If this is her first pregnancy, she might be afraid of hurting the baby (the doctor can reassure her that no such thing can happen). Unless - the doctor already told her there is a reason to abstain.

It can be...for a variety of reasons. The first I would suspect is a major hormone shift. Another could be she's feeling a lot of discomfort at the moment which can happen in the early stages.
