Im not saying there is nothing out there, but if there was a god, why dosent he help the neady?

Like I said Im NOT blaming god, its clearly the work of humans which is the demise of this world, but if god is so mighty and powerfull, why does he not intervene?

Like say for example a woman has worshipped god all her life, then she has a baby and that baby dies beacuse some horrible person murders him/her. How can that person still believe there is a god to allow such misery to happen to her?

How do people keep the faith?

I noticed people become more believing when they get older...I think for a lot of people the thought that when you die, you cease to exist is difficult to comprehend, so there must be a God overseeing the afterlife...

God does help the needy especially for those who seek His help. The world became a crazy place, because we give so much of importance and live to the beats of the 'god of this world - the devil', when mankind strays away from the love of God and the Word of God - you can have all that above parceled and mailed to mankind. A baby dies but that lil one is in heaven, for the lil has not sinned. If a molester lives and he dies in sin, he must be sure burning in tat fiery hot place reserved for him. What man does during his life on planet earth is what he will receive after death - whether paradise or hell.

A person may at first think that there could be no reason great enough for God to allow all human suffering that has been experienced over the centuries. Yet, is it right to reach that conclusion? Have not parents who truly love their children permitted them to undergo a painful operation to correct some problem? Yes, the permission of temporary suffering has often made it possible for children to enjoy better health later on in life! God also has good reason for temporarily permitting humans to suffer. If I have not answered your question specifically enough email me and I will do more research to try to answer you better just let me know your further question.

Faith that is what makes people believe in God. If a baby dies , we do not know the reasons God has for this child. Maybe if they would have lived something horrible or devastating would have happened to him/her. Maybe the child Molester would suffer more in his own hell here on earth than to be dead. you never question God or his actions. Maybe god wants us to open our eyes and help the needy......You know brotherly love. We should be taking care of our own. We are all brothers and sisters.Like I said , You just have to have faith.

People may wonder why, if God exists, He doesn’t wave a magic wand and fix things, making or at least influencing everyone so that they do exactly what they ‘should’ do. But God never takes away anyone’s freedom of choice. God’s wisdom is to recognize and respect each soul’s individual identity, freedom and inherent goodness. God shares knowledge – a profound understanding of the dualities and dilemmas of love and hatred, happiness and sorrow, victory and defeat, etc. – but He does not make our choices for us. The soul is free to choose ‘to be or not to be’, ‘to love or not to love’. God’s love strengthens the soul’s will to free itself from the distresses caused by vices such as selfish desire, anger, fear, ego and attachment. God’s power helps the soul to recognize its highest potential and to aim for perfection by practising the art of simple living and high thinking. Such practice by a significant number of souls eventually brings about positive change in the whole of humanity.
When you learn to tune your mind in meditation to the mind of God, then whatever the situation, you always have a source of help and strength to draw upon – an infinite reservoir of power and virtues that is only a thought away

Most people believe in god because of their ancestors, sure you question God, but living in a family who believes in a God, influences you very strongly, also being Religious has the same effect.
Others believe in God, because they can't handle all the unanswered questions, they just rather think that there is a God, someone that looks after us, that gives us justice. So that we humans, feel better, more secure. In other words they use God more as a Hope device or positive device for their everyday life.

Why do you blame God for everything nasty - don't you think the people committing such acts are responsible? What do the Goverments, law-makers etc do about these?

God has given mankind freewill and it is mankind misusing that freewill. God does not want anyone to be drones/robots. He would much rather you approach him with all your heart and mind rather than be forced to do anything you don't want to do.

The Hindu scriptures clearly describe the reason for all the suffering we encounter and also explain how to free ourselves from this, if we care to understand.

Try not to blame God for the poor choices of people. Can God change things? yes. Why doesn't God change things? Because God believes and has faith in us that given enought time we will get it right. It breaks God's heart to see us fail but God loves us soo much we always get another chance.

What would the world look loke if we had as much belief, faith and trust in God as God has in us?

Why can people believe in "medical miracles" but not the fact it might have been a Miracle of God instead.

Why can so many have the faith that the world is Godless, but be live in evolution / put their faith in science / believe in Aliens and UFOs.

god gave man a choice, to be a molester, muderur, ect or not. but for every great sin there is a great punishment. i feel gods love in my heart, like a warm blanket. if a baby dies due to pregnancy complications or such, its a test of ones faith. to understand why there is a test of faith is not nessesary.

being an atheist,i think religion is there to answer the eternal questions of Why are we here? and How did we get here? i wish there was something there but i know there is not. it would so cool cause it would be like superheroes- you know, god above you, the spirit of the buddha around you and satan beneath you!"worship me or you shall feel my wrath!"yeah. right. have you noticed only christians tell you what a terrible person you are? every other religion respects you.
