Sure .. a woman is capable.. sexual abuse isn't just about a man forcing a girl/woman to have sex... sexual abuse involved anything that one person does to another person against their will that involves any kind of sexual act... touching.. making somebody remove their clothes for the purpose of looking at them... making the person touch the one doing the forcing.. and much more... so, if this woman made your friend touch her.. or she touched your friend.. in any manner considered sexual, it's sexual abuse.. that includes kissing.. and can include some types of hugging... could be in some countries the laws are somewhat different... but I believe in Canada and the USA, the laws are similar. I hope your friend files charges if she really feels she was abused.

It is very true. Women can be part of sexual abuse, however very few states have laws against female sexual abuse. In fact a young man going into a police station and saying he's been sexual abused by a women in most cases is laughed at and told of the laws regarding filing false reports.
Man can be raped, physically abused, emotionally abused, sexually abused by both sexes, yet only those cases of of male to male is reported. Female to male is usually treated with laughs and snickers and go away and don't bother us. Not only that but the laws are skewed toward male to female abuse not the other way around.
Example:
There was a story here in the Chicago area of a man who was in an abusive relationship., His dominat girl locked him in a cage and forced him to watch her have sex with other men. She would whip him constantly. When he wasn't locked in the cage he was kept on a leash with a choke collar. She was charged with deviant sexual conduct and received 6 months probation.
In a similar case of a man who abused a women in almost the same manner, the man was sentanced to life in prison without the possiblility of parole.

Of course females can be capable of sexual abuse too. Remember that hot teacher that did a 14 year old?

let me give this as a reference without going into much detail.. all the teacher/ student cases in the country lately.. some women are just not right mentally .. and this applies for victims of either gender. I don't believe it is equal in proportion, but I don't have any reference to give on the subject. It is just that the female teacher/ male student gets so much more exposure in the media.. sadly enough .. they typically get probation and a suspended sentence unless they physically hurt the child in the process destroying them mentally.. It is a sad world that we live in.. a victim is a victim and the punishment should reflect the real long-term effects of the crime.

Yes. In more ways than one. Abuse is a tendency to take advantage of a helpless person. However, locking up is not the answer. Get her some good help - like a sexologist.

They are capable, and they do, but not nearly as frequently as men! It is also not reported as frequently, even if it does occur. You can guess why. I had one kid who turned his caretaker in. She got a 15 year old drunk on New Years Eve and they began having intercourse. He turned her in 3 months later when she shut him off!
We have been having a lot of problems with 20 to 25 year old teacher's and their students!

unfortunately, yes it is true. I have to agree with you too, sexually abusing and molesting someone is one of the worst things a person can do, I get more angry over that than murder.
