Think it might just be a brother thing, they will soon grow tired of teasing you and start respecting your views.

Since you can't change their behavior, change yours. You politely decline each and every time - try not to spend any time "debating" with men why you have the right to choose, etc. Especially if you're a woman in a household of men...you'd better learn to ignore their stupidity and insensitivity, and be more assertive in your choices and preferences as a woman. Although they might feel like they don't have to RESPECT your wishes, YOU have to respect your wishes...so don't eat that $%^#&^!@#$% meat!

They are your brothers so you may never really 'win' this one. I never get on peoples cases about meat-eating unless they start it. Thier are many things that you can say that will stick in a meat-eaters mind...
"No dead animals for me, thank-you..."
"They say that 'you are what you eat'... I guess that you are just a graveyard of dead, burnt bodies..."
"You sure smell like a meat-eater...!!"
"Don't worry, some day you'll find a girl that likes to eat dead things as much as you...!!"
'Eating meat lowers testosterone production..."
Look at the meat and say "Do you think it was it a baby? (mommy?...father?) I bet his family is wondering where he is right now..."
"Awwww...you killed Bambi...!!"
"Mmmmmmmm....murder for dinner...looks yummy!"
Remember they started it...you are only acting in self-defence.

They do what they do because they know it bothers you. When they shove meat in your face, gracefully take it from them and then go through it away. *smiles* Actually, they can only offend or pick on you if you allow it. Don't allow it to bother you and they will soon stop.

How old are they? It looks like they're too young to reason. Well, at least you could let your father understand that this is something important for you, even if they don't agree or understand. So, they should try to respect you for this. You could make your dad understand, and if your brothers don't understand, at least your father can make you respect you. Good luck, and my sympathy. I'm a vegetarian by choice, too.
