It's funny. Everyone on here is a "Christian" and no one has the same answers -smh- Christianity was made and or invented By Paul. Who never met Jesus but in his so called dream.. Even today you will find many lapses in the doctorine of this religion which was used to press rebellion and creating gap between religion and govt. Are you referring to the modern day church age religion or the old-age bible time religion. There is a difference. I think that Yeshua Hamashea(Jesus Christ) brought Christianity to attention when He died upon the cross, but what the modern day catholic movement has done since the days of Constantine and infant baptism has made the christianity we have now. Nobody invented the religion, but in the ancient city of Antioch, those who followed the teachings of Christ and believed in Him were called as Christians - followers of Christ. Jesus did not come to establish a religion but to establish a relationship between a Loving Father seeking His lost children. I would say Paul got the ball rolling and the Pagan Emporer Constantine used it to further his own agenda... by making it a state religion. The Roman Catholic Church made it official when they stepped in after Rome fell.
