yea uh i think it's a stupid question...the malaria one not my own

No. In our part of the world (the good 'ole USA), it is fairly rare, but in many parts of the world , especially, hot tropical and jungle areas like Africa and parts of Southeast Asia, and Amazon regions, it can reach serious, even epidemic proportions and result in many deaths.

It is preventing most of the African nations from becoming developing nations. Think of all the time spent being ill, and taking care of those that are ill. Time not spent planting crops and feeding people, or getting an education. It is one of the major factors that makes Africa so poor and helpless. If we could destroy the Malaria Virus then that would go a lot longer than thousands of food drops will to helping Africa.

The French started the Panama Canal, but malaria killed the effort. When the US tried, the first thing we did was to send in the Army Corp of Engineers. They took the advice of the Medical Corp to destroy the virus first. That took a lot of insecticide, the draining a few swamps, and 2 years of work. Then the Corp of Engineers started the construction project.

No.this is a very big problem in lot of countries,and helping to humans it's in our nature and solution can be only found when you know about the problem as in USA i think very few people only know this problem,so this the best way the people should become awer of this and knowingly or unknowingly the help

I think that is the question we should be asking her. If she doesn't know, then we are all screwed. YA is the last place someone should turn to get rid of disease...its like asking beavis and butthead. 2 points
