There are times when an animal is either in too much pain or is too sick to have a positive quality of life. The same thing applies to human beings. When the person that is sick decides that it is time to leave life behind, they may ask to be euthanized. I only see one thing wrong with euthanasia ... is the sick person competent to make a life or death decision about themselves. If they are, then they should be allowed to die.
