Small family business, no employees. Going to bussinesses after hours to clean floors and offices. We know we need liability ins; but do we need to be bonded?

yes you will need a bond so it covers anything that might come up missing. insurance is for damage, but loss of property comes under the bond.

It depends upon the policy of the company that you will be cleaning for. Some companies will require it, some not. But, it is probably in your best interest to be bonded, anyway. You never know what could happen!

I did cleaning for over 20 yrs, and never needed to be bonded, or insured.

If your state doesn't require bonding, it would be up to the person who hires you. That requirement would be spelled out in your contract.

yes. and its a good idea to get liaBLITY. bond $112. lia. 50 down 30 a month.

I would think so since they have lots of computers and other electronics that could be stolen
