i have downloaded the ipod updater but when i try to update it says internal error how do i fix this?

Have you tried pressing the menu and control button (middle white one)at the same time for 10 seconds this re boots your ipod , hope it helps.

Remove/Re-install it or try and download the Newest version you can.....

unistall it then reinstall it
