tommorow im going to the airport to say bye to a great friend who is leaving the country forever. (she's a girl, im a guy). at the airport what could i do, a special good-bye. any ideas :D

Aaawwww.. you sound so sweet!! :) Well, get her something meaningful that reflects your whole friendship. Think of the private joke or story or something that only you both share together and get something that symbolises that. It would not only make her smile but she will realise that you are a one in a million kind of guy, who values her friendship.. Hopefully, she will not fall in love with you ;)

How about a cell phone with an international calling plan? If that isn't in the budget, a promise to remain her special friend no matter the distance - give her some stationary, funky pen, lots of stamps ( or currency for mailing letters ). Maybe you have shared a special brand of wine/drink? If legal, give her a bottle & tell her you can still chat over a drink together (on the phone)? Let her know how much she will be missed. If possible for you, try to tell her you will visit her then go make your passport application - they take a long time(6-8 weeks). And don't forget to give her a great big hug.

If you have time get to the jewellers and buy a piece of jewellery have it engraved with a message from you that will remind her
of you when she wears it.
