your question is out of context.
Christ said "drink of my blood and eat of my flesh" that does not mean literally drink blood and eat flesh. It means quench yr thirst for righteousness through accepting Christ's blood shed for us. It means to follow his righteous path and to preserve his memory in our hearts. Its a symbol!
Nothingn to do with blood transfusions. Those who cannot accept a blood transfucion usually are radical and sects that have not understood much of the context in which Christ instructed us since he came to earth.
I would accept blood transf. if it s not contaminated with hiv thats for sure . So you make sure you go to a blood bank that absolutely has no hiv in their blood bags.

I'm kind of confused as to what branch of christianity you are speaking of. I am a true christian and have never (in all my life) heard of this. Yes I would truely die for Christ if I were in a situation where I was told "denounce God/Jesus or die." But I don't believe that has any thing to do with blood transfusions. I think that my be the Jehova's Witness you are thinking about. I understand(from a friend) that they do refuse blood from any other sourse than themselves. However, some of them go to the neareat blood bank and have their own blood stored just in in case of an accident. I hope I answered your question.

I am a true Christian.
If you need bloood transfusion in case of an accident I would definitely go for it. Why not?
The Bible speaks of blood being sacred that is why eating blood is wrong. Strictly eating blood. Transfusion is definitely different. You do not eat blood. Your body let it circulate then replaced it when it dies.
If you are saying that that is still eating then living is a sin as well because you are eating your own blood for replacing when it dies.
so complicated, yet i can't find explanation why transfusion is eating blood.
what if i transfused my own blood to me?

Well as a Christian who believes in a the miraculous transformation of communion I take in the blood of Christ every week. God wants us to have life and have it abundantly. Our choice should always be to live and do what ever is necessary to live up to the point where our living causes harm to someone else. then there are some questions to deal with.
Modern medical science is actually the medical arts. Art is inspired by God. So medicine is an extension of God's healing power.
get the transfusion.

absolutely...reason...God told his people not to drink the blood of the animals, but we have to remember that there is a new covenant in Christ and with that we have the assurance that we will be forgiven of all sin. So, if you take in blood your life may be saved. But if you give blood you may save the life of someone else. That in itself is a blessing.

I think Jesus Christ personally instructed many spirits before those individuals were born, then they became doctors down here on earth. So I would get a blood transfusion - provided the blood had been screened. Thanks for asking. Your concern is appreciated.

Yes, because the soul doesn't need blood the flesh does.
