A few months ago I came upon a car stalled in the middle of the highway. An old couple inside scared to ask for help. What could they do? No cell phone. The car won't start. I'm no mechanic but I offer to push the car off the road even though I have heart problems. They reluctantly accept.
Now the old couple is off the road, car still won't start. No one is stopping to help these people. I offer to take them home. The old man says "I can't leave my car to vandals". So what's left. I offer to take his wife anywhere she wants to go. What? They don't know me. I could be a bad guy.
I get back in my vehicle and let them talk it over. I was talking to them through a half cracked window.
Relunctantly the old man asks me if I would take his wife home so she could get his brother to help him. It was a 20 mile drive one way. I said yes. Of course I will.
It's a shame old people are often taken advantage of. I was glad I had the opportunity to do something good.

The best love you can share with all being is called unconditional love - if you reach the ability of loving all unconditionally and put all of them benefit infront of yours all the time you can attain the budhaa and that is the highest love you can feel . This kind of love you can read about in the Jewish traditional stories, at Chrisitanity at Muslims Kuran but I found it expressing itself the best on budhism.
P.s. once you feel that kind of love you never forget it again

Christ says it is lay down you life for some one else. I think that being truly forgiving is a close second and harder to do. death is an instantaneous one time deal. forgivness you have to live with and live out the rest of your life.
