"After six months of marriage she will become an American Citizen. " This is totally untrue.

Your wife should file for an adjustment of status. Here are the forms she needs. Good luck!

After six months of marriage she will become an American Citizen. In the meantime she needs to register for a Social Security Card, and seek a Visa (permission for a foreign national to stay in the US). Of course if she is not looking for a job then she can relax, and wait the 6 months. If she currently has a job or is a student, or is just a housewife then she is okay.

You need to contact CIS and you need to petition for your wife's green card. I don't know the form numbers, but you can either look them up on www.uscis.gov or call and they will send them to you and give you further direction.
