give me tips on how can i win the debate proving that it is unpatriotic to study and use English..

Unpatriotic in a sense that your country is completely forgetting your national identity. If all and every transaction done is by using the English language and your national language is already forgotten, then it becomes unpatriotic.

Maybe you should tell them that the Cherokee language should be the official national language ...!! Therefore, studying in the language of the 'invaders' is totally unpatriotic and anti-American!!!

Tell them to remember their country's HISTORY!! It may be short (in terms of Caucasians,) but it should never be forgotten!!

Using "Doublespeak" as described in George Orwell's "1984" Consider the most contemporary use of the word "Patriot". The "Patriot Act" greatly reduces peoples freedom, privacy and liberty. So if studying English makes you a better patriot, it is counterproductive to a free society.

Maybe because your country includes citizens of many different speaking backgrounds & cultures, and focusing only on English would or could be non-inclusive of all your country's citizens.
