There understanding of value and anything is to say the least incompetent to make any judgement or give advice. All you need is one guy who hates woman, to bring about changes in the interpretations to the next one. In time people believe, that that supposed to be the fundamental teachings.

In Christianity we have seen similar things, during the middle ages, the persecution of witches and other inhumane treatment of woman including nuns.

Fundamental teaching, the principal teaching of the Koran is actually Love, Peace, and Compassion for all beings. So how the heck they managed to mess this one up, I have no idea. Child abuse is a horrible thing, in any country or culture.
Luckily, MOST societies have advanced to the point where they strive to protect a child's physical and psychological development. That's why we set age limits on sexual constent. We understand how intercourse between a child and an adult can damage a child's psyche and attitudes towards sexual relations, and destroy that person's ability to be truly intimate with a partner/spouse in the future. Even if a child "consents" to sexual relations with an adult/relative, it is not really consent at all. This is why we consider it to be RAPE, and also have laws against incest.

From what I understand, the purpose of female circumcision is to prevent a girl from experiencing an orgasm. If they can't enjoy sex, then *supposably* they'll be less likely to want it. This seems to imply that females cannot be trusted to control themselves. What's strange is that you never hear about boys having the heads of the penises chopped off to prevent them from enjoying sex.
From my experience, it is us males who "want it" much more, and more often, than females. It is most certainly a double standard which appears quite hypocritical.

What we have to try to understand is that most Muslims rely entirely on their "Qur'an" (Muslim Bible), the "Hadiths" (instructions on how to interpret the Qur'an, and auxillary stories), and the advice of their Imams (Muslims priests).
They believe "the only laws we need are those found in the Qur'an and Hadiths". The problem is that these are ancient documents, dating back over 1000 years. They contain several scientific errors and barbaric traditions. We've come a LONG WAY since then, and we try to adapt our laws and beliefs accordingly. We don't use the Bible to legislate what the age of consent should be, or how many wives a person should have.

1- Female Genital: The statistics you included is for Africa only and Islam is spreaded more than this. This matter was performed under the social (Not religious) impression that it would help in reducing desires in a female as people and again socially used to believe that woman is the source of evil. This is older than Islam historcally.

2-Adultery punishment is stonning and this applied to Males and Females actually, because it is God command. If the law say it way not to apply it very similar to excuting killer. Do you question why to kill who kills?. Adultery Punishment in Judism is stonning also!!

3-Egyptain is among those countries that really have a birth rate that outstands Europe rate and again society is different as in Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, and Pakistan this is not done, so you are just generalizing and in Egypt in particular this is done to Christians girls as well because again it is the society.

I agree with the individual being evil, not the religion. One's choices reflect their moral. Religion is only a belief to which people base their lives upon, and it may be twisted to any degree, for better or worse.

Saying that Islam is evil because people who believe in it do horrible things is stepping along the lines of bigotry and prejudice, is it not? Look at the U.S. for example. We have tons of child abuse here as well, along with sexual predators, child molesters, and other people of the sort. (And most of it's under wraps too, so we're not as exploited as the middle easterners)

You can't tell me Islam is not evil without saying the Christians here are not evil. What about those priests who go and protest the funerals of homosexuals? Or the preachers who sexually molest kids inside church? You can't say the entire Christian faith is evil because there are a few deviants out there. The same goes for Islam.

Islam is not evil. the reason why that child abuse is popular in many muslim countries is the lack of their islamic training. Unfortunately they are not strictly prohibted by these things by their elders but it does not mean that islam teaches children to abuse each other. if the parents would not stop their children on saying such things then they will be inquired by Allah on the day of Dudgment. Allah will ask them that why didn't they stop their children on abusing each other when he had given orders to stop this in His book Quran.
But the ones that follow the true teachings of islam can never use such words that would hurt anybody's feelings
