its like the saying! Start at the bottom and work your way up. so there is only one thing for it, that is what you r going to have to do. having no money no job and no transport is a pain, but there are more ways than you think to get back on the ladder. take it from some who knows. i was put out of work for 4 and a half months its a killer specially when i had always worked. but you have just got to keep your chin up! give people your CV, even if its only bar work until you decide what else you wont to do. don't give up hope, talk to your family they may drive you nuts at times but don't burn your bridges cause once you have its hard to get them back. your an intelligent guy don't let something like this stand in your way. there are things there called phones she might be a long way away but you can use them to keep in contact with her.
PS. claim job seekers its not a lot of money but it helps you keep a level head. it also pays your stamp so when you retire you get a full pension and you don't have to owe any money back good luck mate

I sympathise.
But it sounds like you really have to get some kind of a job (maybe not your ideal one right now), and move out and rent a room in a shared house with other young people or something - or save up and travel abroad.
Basically, while you are still young you need to get off your backside and start seeing a bit of the world. You aren't going to be doing that when you are 30. Or are you still going to be living off your parents then?
By the way, from my experience, you haven't "moved back home" - it stopped being your home when you went to university. It is now your parents' home and you are a (non-paying by the sounds of it) guest.
Good luck - I really mean it. It might be painful to get out of your comfort zone at first but in the long run you will be a hell of a lot better off than you are now.

go and get an underpaid job in a local bar. it will give you a social life, a little bit of money to get your motorbike back on the road, plenty of opportunities to find a new girlfriend and you will be working so hard that when you get chance to see your family you will appreciate them more!

if your are just doing all the things that you've been doing everyday of course you cant see any changes in your life and you will just going to live that way...you will miss your girlfriend, no job,no money and of course you parents will keep driving you nuts...why dont you change?go out and look for job...be a hardworking person and for that since you are already doing some things which you are not doing before you will see some improvements in your life...be patient in everything that you will going to do and you will see what patience can do....dont just stay in one corner...get up dude and find you luck ...God speed....

Keep driving on and make a plan. Evene if it seems like it will be a long time before you get back to your independence you have to keep picking yourself up. I'm in the same situation but I have a plan. Things will get better.

You need to get back on track and don't feel sad about yourself bcoz that will just bring your self esteem down. Go and find a job that is local perhaps and a decent amount of money. Call your girlfriend and speak to her maybe she can help ya somehow. Good luck :)

That's what happens after uni for most students. It happened to me, it happened to all my friends.....family drives us all crazy. The only thing I can suggest is get yourself a job!
I took a job in a supermarket - yes it's shite - but it's money.
-Then you would have money.
-You would be away from the family who drive you crazy for most of the day.
-With the money you can get your bike fixed and go see your girlfriend.
Sorted! :o)
