The bombing of Hiroshima stands out as a very sobering 20th Century event.
The extermination of a whole city was done in such an impersonal and remote way, it marked a distinct change in the polemic, then we had enemies and allies just as now we have global terrorism and the enemy is within, there is no easily identified enemy at all, we are all a bit suspicious of each other because it could be the person next door.
It would be nice to think we could learn something worthwhile as a legacy for the whole world from the Hiroshima bombing it but I'm not so optimistic.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki are precisely why we should remember Golgotha....both are equally important to remember. The first remind us that we need a savior...the second reminds us that we have one.

Golgotha.
Because Nagasaki/Hiroshima brought catastrophic death.
And the death of Jesus brought life to all of man.

Christ's death makes eternal life possible for us.
Death of people in the first 2 atom bombs was a way to shorten World War II.
No comparison.

i'd say the nuke, pervey. even if the romans had had a nuke they couldn't have nuked palestine to kill all the zelots because they were occupying it at the time. the us wasn't occupying japan at the time it was nuked.
