Depo-Provera is a birth control injection - its effects lasts 3 months.
There are no side effects to a man! If you think this - you really need to get yourself educated about sexuality and health in general! Pay attention when in your biology and health classes!

There's no effect on a man. Think of it as a woman taking a birth control pill (which doesn't affect you either) but it's in a shot and it lasts for around 3 months. However, women shouldn't take it long term either because it decreases bone density and leads to osteoperosis, among other things. My sister was on it for 6 years and they took her off of it immediately once they had confirmed, published medical reports detailing the side effects. Hope that helps.

it's just a hormone, it wont effect the guy at all, unless you take it, then some really strange side`effects can occur.
