some men and women never become ethical. You are brought up with a code of ethics by parents and teachers. Ethics sadly seem to change with the times. My answer would be when you are old enough to know right from wrong and choose to live your life "doing the right thing"

I like to think most people are ethical - but not all! The minute that one's ethics are called into question, they start employing the ethics they probably have always had but let slip a little.

your born ethical and moral the sad truth of the matter is that we are taught , usually by people of authority and "respect" to behave in unethical and immoral fashion. Some of the worst are the bible thumping idiots like the guy who just replied. More harm suffering and deprivation have been laid on mahkind in the name of Jesus Christ and God than any other reason. To be truly moral and ethical look yourself in the mirror each and every day and ask yourself " ami i proud of everything i did today? did i treat each and every individual i came into contact with as i would have like to be treated?" if you can honestly answer yes to those questions ( and honestly!!!) thenyou have high moral and ethical standards regardless of religious or lack of religious beliefs.

You first become ethical when you understand the difference between right and wrong behavior and then choose to do the right thing.

Ethics are not universal... even if they should be. You can have good ethics or bad ethics... so everyone is always ethical.
If you mean "moral" that can only truly be attained via faith in Jesus Christ and strict following of the Bible... sorry Gandhi was nice, but not truly moral.

When they can comprehend right from wrong. But that doesn't seem to matter to many individuals, they choose to ignore right from wrong to pursue their own agendas. A more and more common place attitude amongst the masses. It's the "Achilles heal" of mankind alike.
