The dawn of humankind brought perplexing ideas that would later spawn off the understanding of the reality of the human mind. We still have failed to fully explain the comprehension of consciousness, but we have settled close. The unconscious mind has given us a superb understanding on how the unconscious influences our daily choices and ideas. Along side the unconscious, the psychic activity, collective unconscious, and consciousness plays an important role in what makes up our reality.
“The unconscious mind is that part of the mind wherein psychic activity takes place of which the person is unaware”, according to dictionary.com. When mentioning psychic activity we must detach our selves from how the word is presented today. The modern view of “psychic” is broadly viewed as a person that can communicate with the dead and/or knowing// A preview of my theory.

Some people are just more intune with thereself and trust there intuition . But unfortunetly its seen as wierd and not cool in society as peoples view of psychics are based on dodgy fortune tellers trying to part you from your money, ive been very psychic all my life and am very insightful but people dont see that as a good thing,while i listen to my inner voice and dreams i wouldnt tell anyones future even if i knew.

All 'time' happens at once. We just see a segment of it. Our left brain lobe receives all the input from the physical world but our right brain lobe does the invisible world, the world of thought and emotional energy.
Those with psychic skills have more developed left brain lobes, an evolutionary step. I'd recommend NEVER telling someone their future though. You will in fact interfer with their free will to change it which is NOT good on your own karma.

First, J smith 7, that was awesome. You actually had me laughing, out loud.
You've gotten some pretty crappy answers Allan, and alas, mine shall be of an equal or greater crappiness, but bear with me.
My main theory: We are not using our brains anywhere near what we could be, and/or did.
Seconday theory: People who exhibit psychic traits are remnants of an ancient genetic coding.
It could be that it is a new development, but that wouldn't gel with the accounts of psychic activity that saturate human historical records. But, anything's possible.
If anyone is wondering, I haven't any superpowers. Pisses me off like you wouldn't believe. Oh well.

Spirits give us information concerning future events when it can be helpful for us. Mediumship is an inherent quality given to all who are evolved. Most people either do not believe or do not know the intricacies involved in participating. Instruction, guidance and ethics are needed in communicating with the spirits successfully.

Why is it psychics can only see things that require interpretation and their visions are so cloudy they could mean anything?
The famous magician Harry Houdini spent much of his life exposing psychics for the frauds they are.
