We are all a product of the interaction between our genetic make up and the environment that is given to us. If we are born in a Christian home, the chances are we will grow up believing what our parents taught us initially. The same rules would apply to almost anyone. However, as you mature, you will begin to THINK and QUESTION. If you are fair in your thinking and questioning, you will certainly ASK the right questions, which may lead you away from your parents teachings.
Everyone questions what the parents teach at some point. A wise person in due time can see the Hand of the ALMIGHTY in so many things that he wont be able to ignore that!!
If one is a skeptic not wanting an answer or not wanting to know things, then one can not help them. After all you can bring a horse to the water but not force him to drink it.

I do not believe in supernatural entities of any kind, including "Gods."
Most of my beliefs are based on credible, objectively verifiable evidence. I was conditioned as a child to believe in supernatural entities and a "creator God." But, education and experience cured me of superstitious beliefs.
The only way a person can see the hand of a creator is if he starts out with the belief a creator existed in the first place. And, then viewed everything from the viewpoint it was created. While ignoring anything that negates or refutes that belief.

Everyone is born of a natural state, and you are right in the sense that we are conditioned according to our environment on what and how to believe.
As we grow older and older, many of us will remain with those believes that we have been indoctrinated with, for others we will search for something more or fullfilling. If you are sincere and steadfast the truth will find it's way to you. The question then is are you willing to submit to that will calls you.
Even for those who argue, they don't believe in God. how is it they at the time of dire need cry out "Oh God" ? Something to ponder no doubt.

All human beings believe that there is something greater then themselves. So technically everyone believes in GOD. The only thing people disagree on is what level of "God" they believe in and how they should worship him.

The understanding of God carries with us in our sub-conscious from the Spirit World. When we reincarnate into the world, we retain the sublime thought that there is a higher power than us.

Conditioned to one dictionary means: To make dependent on a condition or conditions.
I believe we should be dependent on God. I believe in being dependent on Him. If you are not dependent on God, you have nothing to live for except yourself and your worldly desires.
