It's fun to read about, but there is no such thing. Sorcery is based on Mythological stories from the past, but have no basis in reality.

But, it can be very entertaining for those who want to amuse themselves by pretending they can invoke "magic" to make things happen.

If sorcery was effective, sorcerers would control the world.
