Lets suppose you have a word document called research.doc
go to that document. Click File, print and then when you get to select printer, there will be an option called "Win2pdf". Click on that and your word document will be converted to a pdf file.

use open office http://www.openoffice.org
all the office suite copmonents have PDF fuctions in built so wordprocessing, calc etc all have an icon up top tool bar to save as PDF.
Much like microsofty office but free to download and use.
word, and excel files are converted by the programe to odf so no problem taking in your old files.

Basically you can save anything you want to a PDF (for free). Rather than save as PDF, you print as PDF. It's strange to think of it like that, but you get used to it after a while.

when you istall Adobe Acrobat program you can see icon in word program in standard bar to convert to pdf

There is a software called Acropad... Download it... It can create PDF files from text files...

well you got to have a pdf converter i think the latest version is 7 you may purchase that on any computer of bookshops that sell software then just simply install it it your pc then presto!

i know how to convert it. it using some software but i forgot what its name. but you can search it in www.download.com. just search using "convert word to pdf" or something else. it may be help.
