Sometimes keeping a food diary can help. Sometimes we don't remember how much we have snacked on during the day. The food diary can help you see if you are snacking excessively or help you see a bad habit.

If snacking is your problem you can look into a couple of options. You can cut down on your snacking or plan for healthier snacks. Don't drastically change your diet unless you know that you can stick with it. Otherwise you just gain all of the weight back because you go back to old habits. Just change a little at a time. Try having two "healthy meals" a week. Something as simple as having grilled food, instead of something fried.

Also, to lose weight you really need to do some type of exercise. Find something that you enjoy doing. You will be more likely to stick with it. Maybe walking, swimming, yoga, dance, aerobics. Just whatever you find interesting. If you bore easily you may want to try doing more than one thing. For instance, walking with friends on Monday and Wednesday, yoga on Tuesday and Thursday. The next week try dance on Mon. and wed. and aerobics or Tues. and Thurs.. You just have to find what works for you. The most important thing is to keep it fun and interesting. Take time and try some new things!

I hope these suggestions were helpful. Good luck and just keep the faith in yourself. You can do it. You just have to decide that you are ready to.

You should be motivated to work out, eat healthier, and be at a healthy weight for yourself and your own self-confidence. There are so many people out there, don't let one jerk ruin it for you. You might as well get in shape now, so when you meet the next guy you're interested in, the work is already done, and you can jump right into the dating scene with confidence, instead of having to start the workouts then! Another good way to keep up motivation is to chart your success. Measure yourself today (tummy, thighs, whatever areas you want to work on) and weigh yourself. Weigh yourself every few days, and re-measure yourself every few weeks. Keep a total so you can see how many inches and pounds have dropped off. I loved seeing 5 lbs turn into 10, and eventually 30. Having a visual like a graph helped keep me on track!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Partly, look into some of the results of being overweight, and ask yourself if you really want to risk diabetes, heart disease, joint problems, and all the rest.

Then, find a form of exercise that you like. Do you enjoy walking through your neighborhood, swimming, bicycling, or something like that? If you can find something that's fun to do, you're more likely to stick with it, and if you can find a friend to do it with that makes it even better.

Talk to a doctor about how much you should be eating and exercising, and what foods you should eat and avoid. That will make sure that you don't find yourself looking sickly, just better and healthier than you are now.

well first of all you need to find a workout partner ... someone that will motivate you to get up and move. Sometime when you know that someone is depending on you you are more apt. to get up and go!!!
As far as looseing too much weight you need to relize that loosing weight should not be done quick you should only loose 2-4 punds a week to loose weight the healthy way ...Just be carefull to not overdue it .. And remember that all those girls on T.V. and in magazines have had there pictures retouched and do not loose there weight in a healthy fashion ... I hope this helps
and GOOD LUCK >>>>>THINK POSITIVE !!!!

Walking is the best, most complete exercise one can do, as the skeletal/musculature system is tied to walking. Also, your lymphatic system is pumped by walking and that helps to cleanse your blood. You will have to walk for a few hours a day at a brisk pace, but put on an ipod or something, and walk your little buns off, OK !!! Good Luck and have fun.

well, you dont have to look sick. in fact, its REALLY hard to get that skinny, and if you're overweight right now, you probably don't even a chance of becoming that thin (im totally not insulting you, i understand your problem).

what i do is cut out everything i know is bad for me (adding sugar to stuff, chocolate, coffee, potatoes, fried things) and eat foods that are as close to coming from the earth as possible (fresh fruit, boiled or raw veggies, baked chicken or pork, fresh or canned fish). popcorn instead of chips, diet pop or no pop at all... lots of water... there is actually alot of tasty food that doesn't have alot of calories in it.

exercise can suck but if you can get in 30mins three times a week, your body will change and stay healthy with that amount no problem.

good luck to you, it will change your whole life and how life feels to you.
