The Southwest of North America would still be Mexico. Any further south and it becomes Central and South America.

First of all, Mexico did retain the Southwest of North America. It's currently Mexico. The area that you might be referring to is the Southwest of the United States. There's no way Mexico could have retained the area. The area was sold to the States by a Mexican Dictator named Santa Anna in exchange for his life and some cash. However, the area if not sold to the US was being taken by the settlers that he invited to that Mexican territory in the first place to form their own Republic, not a State of these USA. If you had any idea of US History instead of just biased speculation to arouse racial sentiments, your question should read, What would the Southwest of the United Sates be if an Independent Republic existed instead of States? In regards to the Spanish portion of your question, I have no idea what you're trying to say. But I would suggest you take another two years of a foreign language at school and then try writing that again.

It'd probably look like the rest of Mexico...corrupt, polluted, poverty, no future...give it time though, as mexicans slowly become the majority in the southern states, you'll watch the 'poverty line' move north! LOL Eventually, we'll be down to like, 46 states, and mexico will have a nice civil war or something, and then maybe they'll try to go communist or something, and we'll have to cede california, at which point california will go broke, as will new mexico, arizona, texas, and probably nevada, too, because as these regions stop being supported by our government with money, they'll go broke and revert and 'go native'. Mexico, having lost its' northern trade partner, will also go broke, and the whole thing will more or less go to ****. Let's hear it for 'el presidente'! LOLOL

A crap hole just like Mexico is. It's too bad too, because Mexico is very beautiful and rich in natural resources. The corrupt government in Mexico is to blame for Mexico's problems. And I didn't take anything from you, so I don't feel like I should buy what is already mine.
