Kardecist Spiritism not only claims to be a logical successor of Christianity, but also to be a truer form of Christianity, purified from unnecessary elaborations and additions.

Unlike previous doctrines which would have been filtered by the imperfections of the flesh, the teachings collected in his books would be closer to the truth God commanded His messengers (Enlightened Spirits) to transmit to mankind.

All religions are based upon humanity and spirituality in the belief of an after life, or a spiritual transition to reincarnation.

Science cannot measure the spirit.

Philosophy conveys thought about both the physical and the spiritual, though it does not completely explain either of them.

Morals are not confined to religion, fore even the Athiest has morals and does works of good will.

I believe the unnecessary elaborations and additions you speak of, are that of tradition. Traditions, speak of culture ... a method or system to maintain what began at it's origins as a pure manifestation. For example: One cannot take Christ's image off the cross and still fully comprehend the Holy Spirit. Knowledge of the crusifixion is a part of understanding the Divine transition of Christ's death and resurrection, ultimately to form the Holy Trinity.

Without looking at the big picture in both the physical and spiritual realms of religion, there would be no logic in religion.

All things, seen and unseen have or are a spirit. Enlightenment comes through grace.

No, spiritism is not the basis for all religions and religion and science rarely mix.

No, because the foundation of christianity is in Jesus alone, in all things. He's our "all in all". Other religions maybe I don't know.
