Can a scientific thinker be religious as well? Is there any scientific proof for the validity of any religion or are religious beliefs irrational? If most things can be explained by science, then why do most people believe in the supernatural elements of various religions?

In my opinion absolutely not because religion is to bind where science is to set free. Had you ask if the Bible and science can live side by side and are in agreement then I would have said YES!

What is the problem?

There is a big difference between the Bible and religion. For some reason in error the Bible has been classified as a book on religion in my opinion. In this classification most as to me it seems you did make the reference to science and religion as the point of comparison.

People who do lie study the Bible. People who do lie study science. In my opinion both the Bible and Science do not lie but those who do declare what they study for one reason or another can't separate the constantly consistent truth from the lies. Thus most see that a conflict exists because of the mixture of statements and writings of liars.

said better in my opinion; "The Bible does not lie but Bible scholars do and science do not lie but scientists do."

Science in my dictionary is the study of what the MOST HIGH MADE!! It is the field of study that analyzes the artwork of God Almighty! All scientists a few years ago used to be religious and many still are.

I do not see any conflict what so ever between science and religion, unless your religion teaches completely unreasonable things which are not founded on reason, whether in a belief of a man-god or worshipping animals etc. Certain religions do go in the wrong direction from logic and reason. Check out Judaism or Islam (I prefer Islam myself). They are not irrational or against science.

We can not see gravity, we believe in gravity...... why? because we can see its effects. The same is true for the Lord Most High, who is even more sublte and even more over-powering than gravity.

You just have to have that eye opened.. then you will see the effulgence of the HOLY ONE ALL AROUND YOU. It is like a blind man who does not know there is a SUN and .... suddenly gets his eyesight!!

The Lord Most High is the most beautiful and REAL being, that you can feel not only all around you, but within you. Just have your eyes opened. Ask him. He will do that for ya!!

TRY IT!!

I think religion must be in accordance with the established scientific facts ....otherwise the religion is not true or its not in its original form ....for example , there are more than 6000 verses in Quran out which more than 1000 talk about science ....and not a single verse is against the established scientific facts ....imagine what science has discovered just recently , quran tells about it 1400 years ago ...

religion is dossier of facts among other things. The Quran for example has described the formation of the baby from the minute of conception very immaculately that no scientific experiment could ever match.( that was 1426 yr ago ).

It also described the reasons and process of Volcanoes, and earth quakes and consequences in very minute details.

These are only two examples, but that book is packed with scientific facts of immense accuracy.

Religion and science compliment each other.

Enlightenment is the problem the church has. that's hundreds are beginning off to think of and doubt what grew to become into set in stone 1700 years in the past on the council of Nicaea. shall we be straightforward and know that those human beings had an pastime interior the effect. Accommodating latest religions so they did no longer get tossed out on their ear grew to become into significant. slightly finessing of the fact and the fact as they understood it then, led to 'a' bible, which nonetheless a historic rfile, remains purely a historic rfile. blunders lined. The bible should be separated from faith so as that human beings in the present day can savour despite faith or distinctive faiths they have and settle for the information technological expertise shows. as quickly as that happens the conflict is over. the infants are those that could desire to be cared for and introducing creationism is purely brainwashing, for destiny tithes. A despicable act by employing people who lobbied. in case you do no longer believe the bible is in blunders there is no longer something extra to be pronounced, in case you're open minded, google "biblical blunders".
