I recently graduated from high school. I've only really liked one guy in high school, I've only had one boyfriend period, and the guys who like me make me want to run for my life in the opposite direction. I've been told that I'm fairly pretty, and I know that I'm friendly and I love cracking jokes and having fun. Sometimes I feel like guys are even afraid of me though, and I'm not sure why. I don't think I'm intimidating. I don't put up with b.s., but I don't think that makes me intimidating. Any suggestions/ideas? I'm going to UCSB in the fall, so I'm hoping I'll find more mutual prospects there, but I wanted to ask the peoples here about it. Thanks!

Have you tried asking them out? A confident strong woman sometimes intimidates certain guys but you shouldn't change how you are unless you are disrespectful or verbally abusive. It just takes time and patience. Be open to signs from other people and don't be afraid to make the first move- you may be surprised.
