Do you think you get pulled over more or less while driving it? I just bought one about 6 months ago, and have yet to get pulled over, despite some rather crazy driving that had to have been noticed by a cop or two.

I drove one of those when I was 16--and I did some stuff I was sure would get me pulled over, but it never happened. (once i passed a police car going 20 over the speed limit) At the time I didn't really make the connection, I just thought "ha ha..I'm so lucky".
They have too know you're not another cop though, so I'm not sure what the reasoning is.

They really strip all those, an also I assume that cops would be able to spot an active undercover car.

More than likely, since they drive them themselves, they know those thing have a lot of get-up-and-go & can get going pretty fast without your knowledge. They're probably just giving you the benefit of the doubt.

I drive 98 crownvic lx...last one was white p71.....I BELIEVE that yes police understand who is and who is not a cop....I do believe that police may feel that if u drive a crownvic, that u sort-of....relate to the police, and maybe respect the police by driving a crown vic...lx, or interceptor...as long as u don't behave like a cop....its a thing with respect and responsibility...they believe that crown vic is a responsible car to drive. cops identify with that....does that make sense?
