God is the Creator right? He made ALL music...the thing is HUMANS are the ones who make things bad. We either use stuff for a good purpose or a bad one...and if the rap song is reaching a person and making them consider, worship,honour, and praise God...then both the vehicle (the lyrics) and the driver (the rapper) have successfully reached their intended destination.
And here's more food for thought.
Rap is basically spoken poetry.
What is the first thing God did in the Bible? He SPOKE!!!
He said "Let there be light".
Thats one sentence, correct? One (uni) sentence (verse).
What's more universal than music?
Name me one country that doesnt have music?
Or listen to rap music?
... we'll go ahead and let that one marinate for a while.

One thing about rap is that most individuals rap fast. When it comes to Christian rap the only stipulation that I would put on it besides the obvious (must be curse word free, Christian based, and so on) is that the rapper does not rap the words fast. I say this because if you rap fast no one can hear the words therefore the words are not edifying God and the message can not get across.

for me, it's just fine. Coz many teenagers right now that like to hear n to sing rap songs.so, people make Christian rap songs to preach the gospel, especially for the teenagers, or for the PUNK one, that really love hard music.People are tryin to reach them with making something that they like n slowly, they will pay attention to the words in that song, and they can be touch by the love of Jesus.He can touch people in many ways.Jesus blezz ya.. @=)

i think it's great to make christian rap. i love rap beats, but get so tired of hearing the same harmful themes in mainstream rap: drugs, violence, unsafe sex. rap in itself is not bad, it's just that popular rap has turned into something degrading. so christian rap is a great idea!

Why not? If the song gives praise to God and doesn't contain any evil why not sing it? It's the words or a song that make it good or evil.

i think anyone should be able to make any type of expression of what they believe, hell, make a porn about abstinence!
