"Normal" is a misleading term. Some people develope faster than others, and are readyfor sex at an earlier age. If you have someone in mind, PLEASE make sure he's not a pedophile. (Older guy) These people are sexual predators, and will be using you. It may be that you're only ready to go so far. Such people are likely to end up TAKING or manipulating you into doing more than you're ready for.
Some girls do become sexually active at 14, but most don't. Just get and know how to use contraception. 14 IS too young to become a mother.

It's perfectly normal for a 14-year-old to think about sex. If you do choose to lose your virginity, remember to use protection EVERY TIME.

Well if you want to do it then do it, but make sure you know what you are doing because your only a virgin once and you don't want to waist it on someone you don't truly love.... I lost mine when I was young (13) and it was fun, but if I could go back again I would have waited for the right person... never break from peer pressure so make sure you really want to do it, not just to please someone else and if you do have sex use proper protection

It's becoming normal these days! Which is pretty sad.
Of course you may want to, but you already know that the smart thing to do is wait until you're older (at least until you're not 14 anymore).
It may seem like a mature thing to do, have sex while a lot of your friends might not, but the real mature thing to do is refuse.
It does seem like you know a lot about the world, but really...you probably don't.
If you chose to have sex though, PLEASE use protection.
Hope this helps! =]

Being close to your age, I think you shouldn't do it, they could have disease, if you have your period, you should definitely not do it, because whether you know it or not, you don't have to be on your period to be impregnated. But if you are ready for this go ahead, but I don't your mom would appreciate that there are ways of finding out, such as a broken hymen, but waste your life over something stupid, just wait!! It's a stupid choice!! If you feel like you need sex, at this age, you must have been exposed to it before, but you could say the same thing to me, but just listen, age to age, friend to friend, you just shouldn't do it!!

the real ? should be is it right. you have so much time to experience with relationships and sex my advice would be to wait as long as you can. once you wake up that sleeping beast it is so hard to put it back to sleep!!! I was 16 when I lost mine and I wish I would have waited until marriage, but its not like I can take it back now!

It's better to wait even though you really want to.
Your feelings about boys and about yourself will be completely different soon, say, in three years. If you wait, you'll be glad you did.
