hey,
me and my family are moving into our new appartment and we want to decorate my bro's room. He's fifteen years old with no real specific interests.
Guys and girls, do y'all have any ideas??
thanks.

Maybe this will help you. I recently purchased a home and work for a company with ties to IKEA, one of the worlds largest home decor suppliers. I went to their website and checked out their product. They have an area that is based on age. You should check it out. It shows you what the majority of people in age groups are into right now. Sure helped me out to decorate my daughters room. It turned out great. Now I'm not saying to buy their stuff but it sure will give you some ideas of things you might be able to do with local suppliers. Have a great day and hope this helps.

well try using his favorite colors to decorate the room. if he doesn't have a preference, blues & greens are always good for boys. maybe some bulletin boards or a dry erase board to write things on? u could put a cute Caution: (his name here)'s Room sign on the door. PB Teen would be helpful..like blue stuffed chairs/ foot rests/ tables. frame a poster he has..put any awards/medals in the room..a hat rack if he has a lot of hats..also Ikea might be a good place too.

Maybee try asking him his favorite color ? Have him look at like a sear cataloge to see what his taste are ... ?? I would say go with a neutral color wall and use accents( throw rugs, lamps, bedspread) that way if he should not like it after a year or so you will be able to change it without too much work involved ....

Music posters, a blacklight is always cool...stars on the ceiling and paint a mural of a big moon or something. I don't know. He has to kinda like /dislike something!

how about just painting it in a blue or a mixture of browns and tans. It will look manly. If you should choose to go with a theme, let him decide. Its his room.

medium blue with a white trim

baseball, but that might seem a bit to "young" for him

or, my best idea yet

tell him to think of something he would like, if he doesnt come up with anything then you are going to do his room in clowns and balloons

Get his input, or give him a budget, and ways to find his own decoration.

If he's 15, you should let him do his own room.
