Personally my concern with the drink wouldn't be the nicotine itself, but it's addictive qualities. Is it truly better for a nation addicted to smoking cigarettes to become a nation addicted to drinking "nicotine soda"? Really it's no different, except the drink would be more accessible from a retail aspect. Sounds like a bad idea to me.

Like chewing tobacco soda ? Nicotine is bad stuff. I can't imagine why they would want such a product. I suppose if they could make it safe it would be no worse than nicotine gum if you are trying to QUIT smoking.

As long as the beverage is sold the same way cigarettes are sold now... I think it would be a good alternative to smoking for people who are trying to quit.

My thoughts are YUCK! Even as a smoker, that sounds nasty. I can control my craving when necessary.
