I used to absolutely hate it when people say this to me so I respect that you don't want to hear this - but - "there are plenty more fish in the sea"

Life can really hurt at times and when you're between roughly 12 and 25, it can be the worst. So many times one or the other goes someplace else and we think it is the end. It often is, but not always.
If you want to try and keep in tough with your girl do it and see how it goes. Proabably both of you will becomeinterested in others near you agiain, but there are no absolutes. When we loose smeone close from our lives (even just a very special type of friend), it can be just about like it is when someone dies. It takes time to recover. Each time that happens we loose a part of ourselves, but gain somthing as well. It often sems impossible, but most of us either keep goingOK, or get going again befroe all that long. But, wanna know what's worse --? It's when someon you love leaves you without moving away and you have to see them or be afraid you will. Follow your hear. If it's gonna get broken, it might as well be worth it - and it might go the way you'd dream of (might).

I say why give up until you're ready? If you're in love with her, why not see how a long distance relationship works? Long distance relationships can be really hard because you don't get to see each other in a normal casual way. Every time you hang out, you have to totally focus on each other because you want to make the best of your time together. It can be difficult to properly communicate over the phone and email, and misunderstandings can arise. Because you don't spend as much time together, you may drift apart and become more connected with other people closer by. That said, I don't think you have anything to lose by trying it out. You'll figure out if it won't work for you.

give up the second you feel that it is gettin too much for you but DO NOT loose contact. In August I will be going through the same thing with my boyfriend. We will be three hours away. We both made a commitment to be faithful but if we feel that we cant then we must break it off

dude, im in the same situation. But people always told me that u shouldn't try to get ahold of him, and that it would never work out anyways. But i don't think u should give up, if u really do love her, don't give up.
