Most of what architect do is now done on the computer, using programs such as AutoCAD, the work from which is printed using a plotter.

Architects who still practice table drafting use the following:
A Mayline Horizontal Rule, or (Vemco) Drafting Arm (Possibly a T-Square)
45-45-90, 30-60-90, and adjustable Triangles
Architect's Scale (Triangular Ruler with different ratios)
A compass and beam compass
A French Curve or Bendable curve (spline)
Circle and Ellipse Templates
Leads of different weights (9H | 8H | 7H | 6H | 5H | 4H | 3H | 2H | H | F | HB | B | 2B | 3B | 4B | 5B | 6B | 7B | 8B | 9B)
Lead holders for the pieces
A Drafting Sharpener
Drafting erasers
Ink or Pens
Other pencils or washes for rendering
Eraser dust to prevent smudging
Paper, Mylar, or Vellum. Other papers used for roughs.

I hope that helps. Email me if you have any questions.

there called templates, protractors, and architects scales
(RULERS). Templates have different shapes and designs on them used to make circles, squares, or rectangles.

Some have numbers and letters, protractors are used too
make perspective designs in minutes and degrees. The
architects scale is used to measure and calculate numbers
for designs.
