We are, after all, human........sin (as the church dictates it to be) is part of our inherent make up.

Agreed, the Ten Commandments are a fair guideline to live ones life by anyone's standards, but what about the rest ?

It is our nature to be petty, judgmental, self absorbed, critical, jealous and all the other little idiosyncracies that make us human. Granted, we can try and change and recognise our behaviour, but I don't think there would be a person walking this earth who hasn't "sinned" and will continue to do so until the day they day ......so what is one to do?

Exactly, it's not possible, Christianity doesn't make sense. According to Christianity, god made rules which he KNEW humans would never be able to live by. This means god made a mistake, which means god is not perfect, which means god is not god.

"The very concept of sin comes from the bible. Christianity offers to solve a problem of its own making! Would you be thankful to a person who cut you with a knife in order to sell you a bandage?"

you are totally right, we are sinning constantly, basically all the time, when you step on an ant you are sinning, when you think, most of the time we are sinning, it is the never ending story, and therefore we all have to pay for our sins in this life or the next and therefore we suffer. It is because of this reason that many sages decided to leave everything and meditate for hours in order to stop their sins, they thought that the best way to stop sins was by doing nothing. This didn't work many times, because these yogis had sins accumulated from their past lives. therefore they were unsuccessful. It is true that you can counteract sinful activities by performing certain pious activities, but once you are cleaned you get dirty again. However there is a group of individuals who figure it out and they find out a way not only to not perform sin, but also to burn the sins accumulated. Those teachings are in the ancient Indian book the Bhagavad gita. However people now days they don't care about their sinful actions, and therefore they keep suffering. but a very few are free of sin

You are not supposed to be leading a life of sinless perfection. You are only supposed to be leading a life where there is confession and an honest attempt at repentance from sin. No one will be sin free until Jesus comes again. The Bible says in Galatians chapter five that we have a constant battle going on between our flesh and the Spirit and so we are to seek to walk according to the Spirit and do our best to be subject to Him every day of our life. But when we fail, we have Christ Jesus interceding on our behalf at the Father's right hand reminding Him that our sin debt has been paid in full as it were.

It is actually never possible. That's why some of those who are too engrossed with such belief tend to dive into mental distortion because they feel too much guilt that cannot be contained. This people are usually fanatics who never found out such reality in life.

Life is real and reality is just too overwhelming and oftentimes disgusting to be true. That's the reason why we have to be constantly spiritual to a certain extent so that we can put a check on these imbalances that we see everyday. Those who refuse to, are the ones who will never learn thus no matter how you educate people there will always be judgmentalism, destructive criticisms, jealousy, hatred and the like all in the name of the normal instinctual nature of man.

Some say God is not real. No matter what people believe we can never contradict the fact that the human spiritual side has made a lot of changes and they were good changes and people claim such truth including me. Hopelessly vile persons turning into someone they themselves never thought of before. We have seen demons turning into angels. We have seen that and all claimed it was because they knew God. But there will always be those who will find it too fantastic to believe.

Just for the thought, can we imagine what will happen to the world if man's guilt was left in its primordial state untamed by knowledge? It will not be as functional and effective as it is now. Not even education has totally eradicated such human weakness but at least it has empowered people to rationalize. It explains why during the primitive times, people can sow terror and barbarism and still be considered as heroes. In fact, we can see some of the examples of today. People kill people for no apparent reason at all. That's also the reason why people kill people in the name of God and by using God in order to neutralize such guilt. God is our conscience. But be careful because conscience can be a double edge sword and can cut the line that separates sanity from insanity. But it is worth mentioning that conscience have saved billions of lives for thousands of years. But there will always be sinful people no matter what we do, including us. That is what I believe in.

The ten commandments were given to us humans as the standard that God expects. God has to have perfect sinless people in order for them to enter Heaven. You are right is was and always will be impossible for people to meet God's standard. That is why he sent His son to die in our place, for our sin, so the sin debt could be paid for all who accept His gift of Life.
After a person accepts this gift of the Lord Jesus Christ then the Holy Spirit enters him or her and convicts them of sin and gives them the power to resist sin. With out the power of the Holy Spirit people will not realize the evil they are committing and will not be able to overcome sin in their lives.
All Christians are on a Spiritual journey. They are to strive for perfection this is Sanctification.

You have a point. You're right no one on this earth has not yet to sin. Everyone sins, it's apart of our life no matter what we do or try to do, everyone messes up. God wants us to try hard to not sin, but He knows that we will end up doing so. That is the reason why He came on earth and died on the cross, to save us from our sins. So if people do sin we can ask of his forgivness and still be able to recieve eternal life. He doesnt want us to be perfect, because he knows no one is. He just wants us to be able to recognize when we sin and ask HIm for forgivness.

You obviously speak of PERFECTION in the eyes of God. That is indeed quite a formidable task which only a select few can do or have even accomplished.

The Bible speaks of Noah, Job, Jesus and perhaps even John the Baptist as being "perfect" in the eyes of God when they walked on the Earth.

For the rest of us, we all continue to STRIVE towards that state of perfection --and the key element is to PERSEVERE-- in all our deeds and all our thoughts to remain as pure and as true to form while we closely adhere to and follow The Law at all times.

And each time we falter and fall, we must repent and vow to sin no more as we once more rise to the occasion in achieving that same objective in reaching our desired destination.

Peace be with you!

Jesus became no longer purely a guy. Jesus is totally guy and totally God. Jesus possesses a human soul as properly as a divine nature. As Jesus is particularly God, sin isn't component of his divine nature, and is unquestionably impossible for him. As Jesus is a eye-catching guy, untouched by sin and guided by his divine nature in all issues, he became waiting to withstand all temptation and stay a sinless existence. we are actually not God and we are steeped in sin from start, so all we are able to do is be contrite and repentant, and many times ask God for his forgiveness and ask your self. the appropriate and maximum efficient thank you to try this's during the sacraments of the Catholic Church, that have been prevalent by Christ, fairly for this objective.

Ah, I believe in Sanctification. The change in your life is at first sudden, with the onset of faith, but most of it is a process. The Holy Spirit works in you to change your habits, change your views, and change your thinking. Just let him. We'll never be trully sinless while here on earth, but at least we know God's forgiven us and will make us less and less sinful.

We are human, it is expected of us to sin but the idea of religion is that it creates a guidline for us with the limits we have to be careful to to exceed.
That is what forgivness and repentence are there for.
Sometimes we find ourselves commiting great sins then regret them and repent for them, in my opinion this strenthens your saith.
