I didn't mean to offend anyone, I just asked the question because I lost my Mom 3 yrs. ago and my son 8 yrs. ago and I know that people don't ever forget their loved ones!

I kinda think that I shouldn't have asked this question now cause I'll probably get in trouble for it, I didn't think it would be this bad, so sorry!

My Dad....it's ok for you to ask...I still can't believe he passed away. I went back to Germany with my family, but when we got there I wasn't able to see him anymore, because prior to my arrival at the morgue, the funeral or morgue personnel already closed his coffin. I wanted to remember him alive anyway, so I'm actually glad I didn't see him dead. I still feel like he's still in Germany, I just don't see him like before, because of the distance. My dad also lost two kids prior to his passing- a baby (through sids) and 16 years later my younger brother (suicide)...so he experienced what you went through: the loss of a child. He was very heart broken about my brother's passing and never fully recovered.
My condolences for your losses. God bless.

Hey don't feel bad death is all a part of living.
My dad was the last person in my family that died about two years now. My mom died 11 months before that. I do miss them. I have 2 beautiful kids and I am still alive (unless I haven't gotten the email yet) so it is all good. Sorry for your losses.

Did someone in your family just die? Are you asking the question in an attempt to get at feelings or gain comfort? Maybe not. I just wonder why you would want to know something as straightforward as this, without any type of clarification. Anyway, my mom was the last person in my family to die, and it was devastating. I never thought I'd be able to live without her in my life, but I've managed -- probably getting the strength from her.

My abuelita ("Grandma" in Spanish). She was my dad's mom.

You know, in one year's time we had five deaths in the family... uncle Robbie, my mom, aunt Lucy, Grandma (mom's mom), and Abuelita.

No one forgets their loved ones, and if they were close to you (like a parent or child), you never stop missing them either. I still miss my mom. And btw, it's fine to ask this question. I hope you feel better very soon.
