I have heard that males can become infertile if they get chicken pox if they get them bad enough to effect sexual organs. Is it the same for women?

It doesn't seem to effect females, but chicken pox can negatively affect adult male's fertility in severe cases.

"Infectious diseases, such as chickenpox can affect male fertility in two ways.
First, a high fever associated with the illness can temporarily decrease sperm production. Typically, sperm production returns to normal within 90 days after the fever ends.
Second, infectious diseases may cause inflammation of the testicle (orchitis). This may result in testicular shrinkage (atrophy) and infertility. However, orchitis is most often associated with mumps or infection of the drainage tube of the testicle (epididymitis). It rarely occurs from chickenpox."

I know it can be true for men but not for women. I heard women can become infertile because of problems that some std cause.

If men get Chicken pox as Children they won't get it as adults.
If they get Chicken pox as an adult they may not get Children.
It is only true for men. However it may be bad for the baby if you have it when you give birth.

i heard that too.......actually i SEEN it on adoption stories; this guy couldnt get his wife pregnant because of it..........its TOTALLY true....for men at least
