I am an american living (legally) in Mexico. The Mexican radio reported that over two and 1/2 million illegal (living in the USA) returned for a quick holiday visit to Mexico this past Christmas season.

Why not stop all the cars going TO MEXICO?

The illegals surely have never feared being caught while on their way out!
Why not stop each and every car and ask for proof of legal status in the US? We can surely cause a HUGE inconvienence to those people
confiscate their cars and all of their Christmas gifts (give it all to toys for tots)
what do you think?

I totally agree with you. Great idea. Why can't the government think of this?

Are you serious? I remember traveling when I was alot younger. The driver had to stop at state borders, show ID, declare fruit and stuff. Are you telling me this doesn't go on at the border of Mexico but does at the borders of some states?
Honestly, to answer your question, there is no doubt in my mind that the people in charge want the Mexicans here, or they would have enforced the law a long time ago.

Not a bad idea, and we could sell them back to them when they return. Bit I think that the real strategy should be to take on the employers of the illegals, it would be much more cost effective than going after the illegals . I mean you cant really blame the illegals most are good people seeking a better life, their families, thats just human nature, and we have made it too easy for them to do so.

Why not just close the US/Mexico border for about 3 years and get a handle on the problem? If ya can't get in, ya can't emigrate, legally, or otherwise...people will still try, but the numbers will be drastically reduced, and that'll be a level that the INS can cope with, hopefully...and if they can't, then they need to re-vamp the INS, and double the number of enforcement agents or something.
Bluntly spoken, a lot of our crime relates directly/indirectly to Mexico. Unless we want OUR streets to ultimately resemble the streets of Mexico, now featuring drug gang wars with machine guns, and severed heads, and the whole trip, it's time to DO something, like put a wall between ourselves and the problem, THEN we can talk about helping mexico to reform itself. This one's on the People Of Mexico, they need to stand up, and fix their own problems.

Nasty idea. The reason we have illegals from Mexico is they are poor and don't have much and we are a rich country. They come over to try to EARN some money.

Why are you complaining. You should be kissing Mexico's butt since you are absconding from the law here in the U.S. for molesting your sister's kids.

Got to therapy, puerco.
