I am also amazed at the amount of lunatics. I mean, some are fanatics, but some are actually crazy! However, I am more concerned about the question "Is it alright to **** an eight year old" than "Christianity is better than judiism. Sorry that that I can't spell well.
All these questions are just examples. I believe all is equal.
I am however, concerned about certain things. People are not following the rules.

Almost as bad as the non-religious lunatics. I hear some of them have never each read a science journal, but put all their hopes, dreams, trust, and love into science.
That's all well and good, but I wouldn't make my god something that is merely a tool of human hands. Lunacy to me.
I'm Catholic. I believe abortion, contraception, in vitro fertilization, gay marriage, embryonic stem cell research, lies, stealing, adultery, premarital sex, lust, greed, hatred, selfishness, pride, and licenticiousness are morally wrong. Am I a lunatic?
If so please email me. Pick any one of those listed above and see if my believes are purely crazy or if there is logic and intelligence behind them. If you do not email, I will assume you hae backed down and do not feel you can make me out to be a religious lunatic.

Yes, there are many. It wouldn't be so bad if their questions were confined to the Religion section but sometimes you will find their question in Arts or Computers. I think a lot of them are lunatics but some are genuinely nice, if a little brainwashed.

Is anybody else amazed and terrified by the shear amount of Unintelligent douches on Yahoo! Answers?
That's what your honest question was but in fear of looking lame you typed the one you did.

Most of the people you refer to aren't really 'lunatics', just true believers who have closed their minds to any other perspective. The few lunatics who are present tend to be more of the ranting, hilarious sort. The true believer isn't harmful in many ways. Grouped together they allow the worst things to happen, but alone and in their belief they are merely at and end of their path to seeking joy.

Amazed, not at the amount of them, but at how blatantly ignorant they are of others beliefs. Most of them don't even understand the definition of simple words.
Not terrified of them either. At least when they are spending their time in here, they aren't out on the streets screaming at poor unsuspecting passersby.

To each is own.
If people wouldn't seek to push their religion on one another and just have basic human respect, people wouldn't think they were so coo-koo. A light harded debate of religion is good for the soul, but it's always been said, never discuss Politics & Religion.

would that include non-believers as well? I am more amazed by the people who insist they are athiest, yet they spend a lot of time in the religious areas just to tell everyone how much they dont believe in anything.

Yes, actually. I'd call them fanatics though, not lunatics, that's a little harsh. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that.
