Milkweed

Milkweed is very good, old, Native American wart remedy. If you have access to the milkweed plant, try tearing off a leaf, and apply the milky white fluid that oozes out, directly to the warts.

Bloodroot

Look for an over the counter ointment that contains bloodroot, it's very good at combatting warts.

Birch

Another very old wart remedy is fresh birch bark. If you can get it, just tape a piece of bark on your skin, directly on the wart.

If you don't have access to fresh birch bark, you can take 2 teaspoons of powdered birch bark and add it to 1 cup of boiling water to make a tea. Let it sit for about ten minutes.

In addition to drinking the tea, you can apply the tea directly to the warts.

Asparagus

It is noted that eating fresh asparagus for several days will eliminate warts.

Celandine

Another very effective wart remedy is celandine. Take the juice from the plant and apply it directly to the warts.

You can also make a tea from the dried herb and apply it directly to the warts. Do this several times a day for about 1 week.

Castor Oil

Apply warm castor oil to a piece of gauze and rub the warts for 1/2 an hour, three times per day.

As an alternative, another variation of this wart remedy is to apply the warm castor oil to a Band-Aid and change it twice per day.

Dandelion

Take a dandelion stem and squeeze the sap from it and apply it directly to your warts.

Willow

Look for an over the counter ointment that contains willow. Willow is a fantastic wart remedy. If you have access to a willow tree, take a piece of inner bark and tape it to the warts. Change the dressing every day.

Lemon

Apply the white freshy part of the peel, or the "pith" directly to warts

Fenugreek

Place 1 tablespoon of seeds in a cup and cover them with water. Let the seeds soak for about two days in the refrigerator.

It will eventually form into a consistency similiar to ointment. Apply the solution to warts once per day and let it dry.

Potato

The wildest wart remedy that I ever heard of is to cut out a small square of raw potato and rub your warts with it.

This sounded crazy to me, but people report that they lost their warts!

I see you have had a lot of varied suggestions. I wanted to give you simple instructions for how to remove the warts.

Warts are a virus. They will go away and not come back if you follow these instructions. It's very simple. Studies have proven this is more effective than freezing them off. I know it sounds silly and like a joke, but it's not.

What you need to do is put duct tape over the warts. Leave the duct tape on for a whole week. If the duct tape comes off, just replace it with more.

After that first week, take the duct tape off and leave it off overnight. Rub the warts with a pumice stone or a nail file.

Put the duct tape back on in the morning, and just keep doing this until it's gone.

I somehow get warts frequently. The only luck I've had is the doctor. I've had them "burned" off and "frozen" off (liquid nitrogen). Sometimes, I still have to come in for 3 or more visits on the same wart - they are very persistent. The longer you wait, the longer it takes to remove them. If you pick at the skin around it, you take a chance and cutting/breaking your skin. When you do, the wart spreads deeper. Take the lesser of two evils on this one. I highly recommend going to a doctor instead of wasting time/money trying other remedies.

well its not the most appealing way but it worked for my hubsband. What you do is cut a regular potato on half, then piss on it put it somewhere and let it rot. Once it's rotted rub it on the wart. It took my husbands wart about three weeks to disappear completely. It was on the top of his ankle in the front of his foot about the size of a dime had been there his entire life. It just started to shrink and eventually dissappeared. There is a small discolored scare and by discolored i mean just a little lighter then regular skin tone. I say what do you got to lose? He tried every thing else also and nothing worked.

Put a small piece of Duct tape on the wart being careful not to get it on the surrounding skin. Leave it on for several days and then check it. It should remove the wart.

just pull them out. that's pretty natural. Seriously, warts are about impossiable to get rid of. Even if you kill the part that you see, there is a pretty good chance that the root will remain. It may lay dormant for a while, but it will always be there.

human papiloma virus cause warts.
The human immune system is slow to act upon.
But two or three years later the immune system wakes up & the body destroys them. Even if the patient
does nothing.
Have them removed if they are causing you discomfort or chanhe color..
If you can live with let them be. They'll go away.

They will eventually go away on their own. That is why so many
"old wives tales" work. If they are a nuisance than have them removed by a doctor. This is really very simple, it is just done in doctor's office.
