Why do shampoos and conditioners smell life fruit ?

I mean, Why don`t they make them smell like our favorite scent?

I hate smelling like fruit. I`m not looking for a gorilla, wasp or a hummingbird. I don`t want to smell like mango, kiwi, coconut, strawberry or even berry anything.

So now I smell like my favorite perfume, mixed with yukky fruit.. WOW, what a waste of my perfume. I pay all that money to reek of fruit..

Come on ladies and gents,,, think about it... What do ya think?

And when ya work out, then you then stink like sweaty fruit.. Ewwww... I hate it.. What are they thinking?

I agree. It's just like toothpaste: Everything is mint. Even Vanilla Mint is more mint than vanilla.

I don't think all shampoos and conditioners should smell like fruit. However, I use Aussie Moist and they don't smell entirely like fruit. :D

It's an easy aroma to produce at a low cost and most people like it, so it's just simple economics. Your favorite perfume costs much more to produce (granted no where near what they charge for it). I'm sure most people would agree that it would be nice to have aromas other than fruit and there are some. Try the balsam, or something like that.

i see what u mean even tho i like the smell of fruit
actually perfume is derived from fruits and plant extracts u know but it smells nothing like fruit
try not so strongly scented stuff there is a ton of less powerful scented stuff u could try

i usually dont smell like fruit even tho i use stuff that makes me smell like it maybe u should use less
i recommend using garnier fructis it smells like fruit but it doesn leave ur hair smelling like fruit

Because the manufacturers try so hard to come up with scents that will please us. Apparently, some of us are attracted to fruit smells. Don't you love the aroma of a ripe peach? Or a nice banana? But I agree. It belongs on the fruit, not on your head.

Personally I like the fruity shampoo.Try pantene pro v I love how it smells it probably won't smell like your favorite scent but it doesn't smell like fruit or flowers or anything but it smell really good to me.

I like the way they smell. But I don't use any fragrance.
You can get unscented products at heath food stores.
